How did you get started?
I am a big believer in doing what you love and while I worked in the corporate wedding world for quite some time, I knew that wasn't the place for me. There was so much more we could be offering to clients that wasn't being represented or talked about in the mainstream. I wanted to see more color, more patterns, unique idea's, big and bold personality. I quickly found that if I wanted to see this in the wedding world, I was going to have to create it myself. With this in mind I was determined to build a business that was reflective of my passion for fun and unconventional design. Over 8 years, this determination has allowed me to produce work that I truly love and find my ideal clients, the ones with a Hell Yes RSVP.
What inspires you?
I am really inspired by vintage design elements. Bold textures and colors, fun typography, the overall mood... it's definitely where I draw my own style from. I think my area of expertise is in blending retro with modern day which you can see reflective in a lot of my work. I really just like to create design that hasn't been done before.
What do you love most about working in weddings?
I really enjoy helping clients curate their aesthetic and find their vision with branding. The hunt and research that goes into the foundation of it all is how the magic happens and seeing it come to life is my favorite part. I am so grateful for each one of my clients. Being apart of something so personal, is incredibly humbling.
